Repeaters
There are several repeaters in the area. I have a couple that I'm responsible for
147.165+ N5RN
- A Yaesu DR-1X is on order for this repeater. As of November 21, 2015 it has not shipped.
443.700+ AF5AR (82.5 Tone)
- As of November 13, 2015 at 09:22 AM Local, the Maggiore repeater has been replaced with a Yaesu DR-1X. The DR-1X
is configured simply. The tone is 82.5. It has only locked up once so
far requiring a reboot on November 16, 2015. Plans are to put a Arcom controller on the repeater but that is a work in progress.
444.750+ AA5PW
Other in the White Hall / Pine Bluff area include:
146.700 (82.5 Tone) - K5DAK
- As of November 10, 2015 this repeater is now running a Yaesu DR-1X. Tone is 82.5.
147.195 - N5KWH
- Located at about the 300 foot level at White Bluff Steam Electric Station near Redfield, Arkansas. Gives good coverage between both Pine Bluff and Little Rock.
442.175 - K5DAK
- This repeater is now a Yaesu DR-1X with a tone 82.5. As of February 12, 2016 an UHF amplifier was installed so that that repeater output power could be reduced to low power to minimize problems with DR-1X.
